I am a compulsive collector of things who has found a creative excuse for his tendencies. All of my work is made from found materials which I gather all over the San Francisco Bay area. My work has led me to pull many building techniques together including welding, machining, woodwork and furniture/antique restoration. I attended the Kansas City Art Institute for my BFA and U.C. Berkeley for my masters, though in truth I owe more to popular culture and science fiction as creative influences. I believe strongly that art can be both meaningful and enjoyable, and I aim to continue working towards unifying these two principles.
